My retainer was covered with plaque which I couldn't get off no matter how long I brushed it. My dentist gave me a sample of this to try telling me you can keep soaking in the solution for 10+ days. Earlier this year I bought an Ultra Sonic Jewelry - Denture cleaner for my husband. He has always just soaked his partials overnight in a glass but I thought that I would buy him the Ultra Sonic Jewelry - Denture cleaner I found on line. He really likes using the Ultra Sonic Cleaner because it works so quickly (5 to 10 minutes) and he no longer has to soak them overnight for the same if not better results. When I ordered the Ultra Sonic Cleaner I also ordered a box of this Smile Again Denture Cleaner they offered on their on line store. One big difference between this denture cleaner and the others that you can buy at the drug store is that Smile Again says that ONE PACKET will last 7 to 10 days. It also said - and I quote because I wouldn't have known this without reading it on their site - "The Smile Again cleaner also disinfects. It will destroy pathogens usually found on prosthetics such as Candida albicans, Actimoyces viscosus, Streptococus mutans and Streptococus pyogenes." AND "Used As Directed, Safe For All Dentures Including Soft Relines, Partial Dentures And Orthodontic Appliances, Orthodontic Night Guards and Retainers.* So I thought why not? Well, he really likes it and just finally ran out of this cleaner. I went back to the shop on line that I originally bought the Ultra Sonic Cleaner and this Smile Again Denture Cleaner and compared the price between their site and Amazon and sure enough - it's definitely cheaper buying it here on Amazon...(as usual) I always check prices on Amazon and compare them to other stores before I do ANY purchases! As long as it's the SAME PRODUCT and COSTS LESS I would rather order from Amazon because they are always so helpful in any situation and I have always liked their Customer Service People...and I have been buying from Amazon for soooo many years!!!
