I have an insulin pump and my endocrinologist recommended these for putting in my infusion sets and Dexcom sensors. My insurance used to cover them but stopped and its too expensive to buy them through the pharmacy. I've been getting them on Amazon on a regular basis this is a great product. It cleans my skin really well but once it dries it leaves a little bit of a stickiness, which is perfect if you are having to adhere something to your skin. Read more

These barrier wipes are perfect. They ensure that my sensors stay on for the full two-week period. When I don’t use them, the sensors always come undone (which means I either have to go sans sensor, or come out of pocket for a replacement). I have repurchased these Skin Prep wipes multiple times pm and foresee myself continuing to do so. Read more

This product works extremely well. I use it to help my Freestyle Libre 3 sensor stay stuck on my arm. I wipe area with an alcohol pad and let that dry, then wipe same area with the skin prep, let that area dry again then apply the sensor. No more issues of having the sensor fall off. Read more

Learned about these at the hospital. They work great by not leaving residual stickiness on your skin when you remove anything that had adhesive. Apply it to your skin and let it dry before applying a Libre sensor for example. 15 days later, I remove sensor without leaving a mark o. My arm Read more

As a type 2 diabetic, I find this barrier film wipe to be effective and easy to use. I protects my skin when I apply my CGM (Dexcom G7) and the over-patch. I do not use a barrier film, I get something that looks like a chemical burn/blister wherever the attaching adhesives touch my unprotected skin. The Dexcom CGMs are supposed to run for 10 days. It only takes a few hours for my unprotected skin to skin to react to the adhesives. This product has helped me immensely. I don’t have to worry about the intense itching and burning I have endured without it, previously. It is also a relief to not have open sores due to the blistering that can occur when I don’t apply a barrier film. I’m sure others have encountered this issue. I have also found this same barrier film as a spray. It helps tremendously. I just spray it liberally on the area to which I want to apply my CGM and over-patches, let it dry, then apply my device and over-patches, rub my finger over the device and patches to be sure the adhesion is strong, then go about my business. Lasts the whole 10 days without fear of irritation, itching, burning, or residual blisters/sores. I am much happier using this product. It is far better than any other product I’ve tried. I hope this has been helpful. - M. Murphy Read more
