I received this watch today and I must say that it is one very nice watch. Not just because it costs so little, but because it is just put together very nicely. It came with plastic over the face, a plastic plug on the crown that you had to remove in order to start the watch so the battery does not drain before the consumer buys. It also comes with two additional bands. These bands, which are discussed a lot on here are extremely nice. I do not know what everyone is complaining about, they are double sewn, have nice blacked out hardware and basically give you three watches in one. No it is not a Hamilton, but it SURE DOES LOOK LIKE ONE. Plus, you saved about $180. Is it my main watch, no but I don't have a main watch. That's the beauty of collecting watches. You can wear one one day that costs $200 and another the next day that costs a fraction of that. The mineral glass has a "coke bottle" look to it from the side and adds to the tremendous style of this little made in China watch. It is water resistant but I wouldn't test it out just because I like the watch so much and have other watches that serve that purpose, I wouldn't want to ruin this watch. The accuracy has been to the second so far and the black finish looks very durable and is flawless. I dig the watch, a lot. If you want a nice quality watch that looks just like a Hamilton for a fraction of the cost, I highly recommend this watch. If you want a $21 watch and complain because it doesn't function or look like a $500 Hamilton, this isn't the watch for you. Actually, this watch will function just like any Hamilton because it's a Japanese Quartz Movement, but it says Smith&Wesson on the dial. Oh yeah, one last thing- the example I received has a second hand that hits the mark on every tick. My last eco-drive didn't even do that. The luminesence also is very bright, but it's only on the two main hands. Very nice watch, and not just for the money. I am probably the most picky and anal person you will ever correspond with, and I say buy it. Read more

Outstanding- be careful when removing the plastic protective crown for the hour and minute dial. You can pull it off. The watch is reliable- but I would NOT take it into a combat - not training environment for police, fire or military. I do love it Read more

For the “Smith & Wesson” I would have assumed it would’ve been more durable and been able to to withstand the weight of one fall from a very light male. The clasp broke and the Asurion insurance that I bought for it is apparently no good and that’s why I’m writing this review to hold Amazon responsible until I get my watch fixed Read more

I like this watch. The quality isn't great, but it does its job telling me the date and time. The "metal" part is matte finish, but the hour, minute, and second hands are shiny. The face is a nice, versatile army green. The bands are pretty durable, and the reason I bought this watch over the others I was looking at was because you get a tan, black, and army green band. 3 in all. I like that. I find myself wearing the tan most often. I accidentally showered with the watch on, and it is still going strong. I won't do it again, though. I only mention that so you don't panic if you keep your watch on all the time like I do, and forget to take it off once or twice before you shower. All in all, I really like the watch, and I'm happy with it. Is it amazing quality? No, but it's good enough for me, and I get compliments on it. I see myself having it for a long time, especially with 3 bands. I'm pretty fashion conscious, so I recommend this watch to those who want something that looks decent without having to pay a fortune for it. I give it a B+. Read more

I bought this watch because I needed a cheap watch for my outdoor activities this summer. I'm into the military look, so this fit the bill, and the price was definitely right. My first outing with this watch was camping, and it performed great. As has been said before, the glow in the dark hands are basically useless, but other than that it's very easy to read in proper lighting. It got a few scratches and I took it kayaking with me so it got a little wet, but still performed beautifully. My next outing was jetskiing, and again, no problems whatsoever. The third outing I took my watch on was floating down a river. This time the watch was fully submerged for a good portion of the day as I was furiously hand-paddling around rapids. The watch is still ticking away like a charm, no problems at all. It's cool that it comes with three straps - I like being able to pick which band I want to wear. The straps are a bit stiff and uncomfortable at first, but after wearing them each for about a day, they break in nicely. The straps themselves aren't the best quality, in fact a couple of mine are already showing significant wear on the holes you use to secure the band. However I plan to make a paracord strap for this, so it's really no big deal. Bottom line, if you like a simple military-looking, decently built watch, get this! Read more

never imagined top gun marketers would make worse quality accessories, the strap is medium quality meanwhile the lock thingy is metal? but it feels like plastic. the watch itself is higher quality, only question is if it's actually as advertised in terms of water resistance. so far so good Update: the watch it solid so far, however the paint does go off easily after getting it wet enough. water resistance is good don't know if it's as advertised but a swim or a shower or just washing your hands, whatever else you're doing wont be trouble. metal does take damage easily, haven't done anything much and i see small dents here and there. didn't test the glass, don't plan to.
