I bought this hose kit to keep around for non-critical repairs on things like lawn tractors, etc. Let me be clear about this: I wouldn't trust this hose on a car. It may be perfectly fine and lists a maximum pressure of 300 PSI. Is this a working pressure? Burst pressure? Who knows? Not me. Like I said, it may be perfectly fine to use in a car's fuel line, but I keep it around when I need a chunk of hose that will withstand, at best, low-pressure fuel. Case in point: I just had to replumb the fuel system on my lawn tractor. I grabbed this kit, cut a piece of hose in the size I needed, and had my tractor running a few minutes later. If I hadn't had this, I would've been driving to the parts store on a Saturday afternoon. That's at least a 30 minute round trip that I DIDN'T have to take. I'd be leery of using this stuff for fuel under moderate or high pressure. It may be the best hose in the world (no idea one way or the other), but for a critical application I'd find and buy something from a manufacture I recognize-- Parker, Continental, etc. But a lot of the repairs I do are to lawn equipment, or non-critical hoses on cars (evap and PCV system lines, for example). For this they'll be fine, and even if they're not, they won't leave me stranded or leak fuel all over creation. All I can tell you is that my tractor mowed half my lawn with a piece of this hose carrying low pressure fuel to the carburetor. So far everything appears fine. Time will tell how impervious to fuel this hose is, but as of right now I'm glad I keep it in my pile of spare parts. Read more
