Over many years of playing both basketball and tennis, my knees have experienced tendonitis, which requires me to wear knee braces whenever I do anything active these days. They are not in pain, but they have been weakened considerably over the years. So I was looking forward to using this knee massager. I actually had a slight partial tear in the meniscus of one of my knees a couple of years ago. It took a long time to heal and I finally discovered that heat would help the healing process. So this knee massager is the perfect option to not only provide heat to the knee, but gently vibrate it as well. This is not actually a massager, which I don’t think would be too good for knees. This unit has 3 vibrate settings to provide stimulation to a sore or worn out knee. It also has 3 various heat settings. For those of you in to specs, the battery is 3000 MAH, which should keep it charged for a good amount of time. It will need to be charged as there is not a direct electrical plug, but allows you to use it outside or wherever you would want. The vibration noise is louder than any massager I have used in the past. Related to the heating, there are also infrared and laser options, which I could not find information about. I only gave this a 4 star review as I have not used it long enough to determine the long term benefits, if any. It does give my knee at least temporary relief. The vibrations are not really strong but are soothing as is the heat therapy. I cannot tell if the red light is doing anything. The strongest heat setting gets too warm after a few minutes so I turn it down to medium. But, it does massage the area around the knee and it does provide a soothing warmth through out the entire joint area. It seems to be well made and the straps hold the device on my knee securely. I charged the massager fully before using it and after 10 ten minute sessions it shows no sign of needing to be recharged so battery life seems to be adequate. Revitalized! That is how my knees feel after using this therapeutic knee massager. I purchased this item at the perfect time to help bring relief to my knees after packing and getting ready to move. I have been using it nightly, and not only does it bring relief when I am using the vibration mode, it also tends to make the rest of the body relax, especially after a long day. I experience knee pain from time to time so I decided to give this a try. It had good reviews and was reasonably priced. This has now become part of my self-care routine. It gives a relaxing massage and you can control the intensity of the vibration and heat. It has a built-in timer that shuts off after 10 mins. I usually put it on my other knee for another 10 mins. The straps are extra long so it should fit most. It includes easy to follow directions and power cord. The box is cute and makes it nice to gift to someone.
