These are amazing!! I grew up wearing snow boots in the winter. And this is an amazing pair of snow boots!! I did get a size larger than my normal shoe size so I could wear the big fluffy winter socks. You will NOT need to do that!! These are faux fur lined and they are so soft and warm to wear! So just get the size you normally wear! But I will still wear my thick socks with these!! The sole of these shoes is a very nice rubber! Great grip on most surfaces, even when damp! The traction is raised very well! Similar to my favorite pair of hiking boots, actually! The water resistant material does a great job keeping my feet dry from outside water sources such as snow and ice! I wouldn't walk through a lot of high water and expect the same results, though most large puddles are not an issue, either! The shell is a quilted water resistant material! This does have 100% Leather as well! The laces are very easy to tighten and tie! These do lace midway up the calf! And the best thing- in my opinion- is the tongue of the shoe! It's sewn to the shoe up to just above the ankle! This ensures that the tongue of the boot doesn't slide around opening up a pocket for snow, ice, or water to get in or let the warmth out!! None of my other snow boots have this!! These are quickly becoming my favorite pair of Winter/snow boots!! These boots are tough and sturdy and will keep you going in the snow. They are a little bit stiff, and I’m not sure that they will loosen up, since they are artificial leather. The ones I ordered fit me pretty well, so I’m not sure there’s a need to size up or down. You’re wide enough for my wide feet and reasonably comfortable, although I would suggest thick socks underneath them – which you will want anyway with heavy snow. They appeared to be waterproof, but have not had any snow here yet to try that out. There is also pretty good traction on the souls, which is important, especially if there’s ice underneath the snow, which often happens. I would say give these a try. Read more

They are great quality boots made with long lasting material. I love the non-slip souls that help me walk through snow and even on ice. They are waterproof so I never have to worry about my feet and socks getting wet. They are so warm and comfortable to wear. They keep my feet nice and warm and they are so comfortable that it feels like I am almost wearing my walking shoes. They are lightweight so my feet and legs don't get tired from wearing them. As a dude I can say I've never had foot gear with fur before...no chainsaw or woodworking with these furry buggers....argh! very messy..but they are comfortable & keep my feet dry...Oregon dry...we test wet weather gear every winter...so far so good! These boots run true to size and the inside is very soft and should be very warm. The tread has deep traction. They are not the most stylish, pretty clunky, but living in Colorado I always like to keep a pair of boots in my car for our wildly unpredictable weather. For the quality and price these are perfect! There isn't a ton of padded in the sole, but they are still comfortable and the lining is very soft. These would be better if they were a little less bulky, but they do look like the listing, and I personally didn't choose them for fashion. These are a definite win for function! Read more
