Great lamp for the nightstand. I also have one at work on my desk. The multi function lighting button works great. Soft warm light at bed time and bright blue light when working. Very sturdy and not flimsy at all. I also like you can turn the direction of the light as well. The temp and date and time display is also fairly handy. This light came completely assembled, all you need to do is attach the power cord. The time and calendar display is easy to read, better than others that are narrower and has all the information that you need. There were no instructions included, so I spent the better part of an hour trying to figure out how to set it.
