This is an excellent warm coat 👍 perfect AR 670-1 Pros: super light weight, woobie style tactical coat, low noise, very warm so far in 30° weather was very warm with only a t-shirt on, battle worthy, Good waterproofing in rainy weather kept me warm and dry 👍 great coat!!! Cons: looks a bit poorly made, the material has alot of strings hanging and attached just looked like a poor construction of my coat for $335 you would think it would be BETTER, the zipper is plastic cheap, the zipper rail is cheap made, the size is not accurate, only goes to 2XL REG with heavy gear, body armor on underneath it was very tight fit on tall athletic build body type. Needs more pockets!!!! , the hood fits VERY awkwardly just not a comfortable hood, it makes noise against ears so it's hard to listen if you're going silent tactical. Read more

I like the idea of this brand and didn’t like the price so much but purchased it thinking it’s worth the investment. It’s certainly warm and water resistant but... the stitching is flawed with the liner sticking out of the sleeve, the zipper system is flawed, forcing me to commit emergency surgery to zip it up in the middle of a snowstorm. This jacket is lightweight, comfortable, and extremely durable. At first I had my doubts but after wearing it for several months while deployed it has held up wonderfully. It comes with a stuff sack which makes it into a wonderful pillow or a small compact item to be put into your pack. The only downfall to this jacket is that the zipper is reversed but it doesn’t bother me enough to drop the rating. Honestly this was one of the best items I have bought in a long time. Read more

The jacket indeed is very warm, snugpak is a reputable company that makes various products for the US Military. It is a very light jacket, i barely notice that I am wearing it. I really like the fact that i can pack it away in a stuff sack, that it comes with. To me, it is form fitting: i wear medium shirts and ordered a medium and fits great! The jacket comes with a hood that is easily tucked away on the collar. The jacket is also water resistant, so when it rains it’ll bead up the water droplets and the droplets will roll off. Overall very please with the purchase, and use it for when I’m outside for my job. Highly recommend buying this jacket. Read more
