Beautiful boots of quality leather. I was nervous to try them out since several reviews mentioned how they worked for thin calves, as my calves (size 10 shoe) are 16.5” circumference. But the laces in the back make these boots perfectly customizable and I love how they fit. It takes awhile to get them adjusted, but then the full length zipper makes it easy after the first adjustment. Read more

These boots are extremely comfortable and a good fit for a person with thick calves like I have due to the lacing on the back of the boots. Sofft brand boots are always good quality boots. Read more

I love the look of these boots! The Whiskey Brown color is rich and lovely. I could adjust the lacing in the back to custom fit to my calves (which are average). They were very comfortable! However, the boot was just a bit too narrow for my average to slightly wide foot. By the end of day 1 I had a blister on the outside and inside of my foot. Secondly, whenever the boot was lightly rubbed (by my fingers as I adjusted the laces, or as the boots touched and rubbed when I adjusted my feet while sitting) it left scratch marks which couldn’t be rubbed out. Some people might like this scuffed look but I wanted something sleek and a little more classy. Read more

Best boots I ever owned. Husband bought me a pair a while back and I used them for 6+ years. Could have used it for longer but ended up selling them. Missed them so much and now bought myself another pair! True to size, real leather! Easy to buff out and polish if fades or scratches. Great for ladies with small or thin calves! Read more

I love the look and style of these boots. HOWEVER, they are the most uncomfortable footwear I have ever put on my feet. I wore them around the house but wanted to be careful not to soil them if I had to return so I didnt wear them for long. Thinking the fit was good, I decided to keep them. As stated, the fit is fine, good toe room and I usually take a narrow size but they are only offered in regular. The regular may be a bit snug on someone who normally takes a regular. So the fit, for me, is fine but the comfort level is just terrible. Poor cushioning, very stiff and hard. I am sad to say that I may not be able to wear these after spending so much money on these boots. Read more
