Whenever we travel with our dog, we always bring quilts to cover the furniture at hotels or AirBnB's. Hubby used to put them into plastic trash bags in the car, that drove me nutty with the scrunching sounds when driving. With these, we can wash them, fold and store them nicely until the next trip. Bags are quality, breathable storage containers. In reading previous reviews, I too opted for the color black to mask any stains/dirt. I researched for 'breathable bags' to store down + synthetic down comforters because they need air & space to breathe & decompress. I am happy with quality and size of bags. I have a small 2 bed house and I'm trying to figure out how to organize things better. My plan was to put these bags on the top of my wire shelf in my spare room closet to store bedding for guests. It's 100% my fault for not measuring the depth of my top wire shelf, bc they didn't fit, they overhanged quite a bit onto my hangers below and it was just awkward. I had to do some rearranging on the floor to get everything to fit and it ended up working out as best as it could. 1st bag has: 2 queen pillows and 2 flat sheets with plenty of room for other items. 2nd bag: one fluffy king sized blanket and there's room for even another small blanket. They are canvas fabric not the cheap thin gauze like material some storage bags are made from, has a small window to put a label in or a picture. I was able to store keepsake blankets and the last comforter my Mom slept with before we had to call Hospice in for help. And the other has a twin quilt she made for me in it. We had so small mouse issue till the Exterminator got it fixed but in the meantime some of my clothes were ruined by them I put them in these and they don't touch them so I'm keeping them cuz I truly do like them for storing blankets even though our problem is now resolved since the house was knocked down next door that being said they're great quality and they fit a lot I have them in the cream color and the gray I like them both.
