I never knew how important a night light was until I didn't have one and the power went out. I have always kept the battery rechargeable type in every room but... we moved and they were still packed. And the power went out. These are definitely a safety device when the power goes out. This little night light is really nice. It is a square, battery operated, lamp. It does come with a short USB-C cable for charging. The magic with this is that it is so easy to use and it gives off enough light to be comfortable and safe. Whether it is for getting up for a night time trip to the bathroom or to check on kids or pets, or for whatever you have for getting up in the night, this lamp gives enough light to keep you safe and not wake up anyone else in the room. It is small and does not take up a lot of space. It is about 3 inches square and rises to about 4 and a half high when turned on high. You can adjust the lighting by touching the button the top as the to part is rising. It is handy in that if needed, you can carry it from one area to another without any problems. This is nice enough that we are thinking of getting a few more for our new home. It seems a bit pricey but it does have a number of features that a lot of night lights don't offer such as the adjustable light, on and off switch, movable, rechargeable, and actually looks nice wherever you decide to place it. My son LOVES this touch night-light. It adds a bit of "fun" to bedtime to be able to tap the top for the light to rise up and lower down depending on the light strength. It holds a charge for a few nights before having to charge it again. I like this is light is easy enough to just pick up and take with us when we travel too. The light is not super obnoxious or bright, and has more of a warmer glow which I like. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a soft, natural light source at night for a child or adult! Inside are directions, a charging cord and a warranty card. At full brightness, it's fairly sizable, but lightweight and stable. When turned off, it's more compact, and easy to store or move around. The light is impressively luminous for its size and lights an ample area. The build seems sturdy and durable. I've been tapping it non stop since it arrived and it hasn't missed a beat. It's very simple to use. A gentle tap on the top button lifts the light and increases brightness incrementally. You can stop or reverse it any time with a double tap. The warm toned LED light is designed to minimize eye strain. It lets you know when the battery is low by blinking three times. It’s a small but truly helpful feature that I have never seen on any other portable light. Versatility is another plus. This is a small cube with soft edges when dormant. When you tap the plastic on/off switch at the top, a soft warm light brightens up slowly while the top piece rises up with a soft whir. The light won't reach a blinding brightness, so this is perfect for a night light. As advertised, this would be a good nursery nightlight. The rising and lowering of the top piece is a novelty for sure that will delight the first few times. There is a USB-C port where an included short cable plugs in to charge the light. There is no charger, however, so either this goes into an electronic device like a laptop or a 5V/1A charger that you will need to buy separately. Most phone chargers nowadays are 2A+, so I'm not sure if they will deliver too much current to this device. Also as mentioned, the cable is quite short, so this light will need to be close to an outlet or the power source when charging. Fortunately, the product literature claims that the 2000 mAh battery should last a while between full charges. I cannot tell to pop the lid to change light bulb or batteries. Therefore, it looks like this is going to be one of those disposable devices when the bulb goes out or the lithium battery dies. The motor that rises and lowers the top piece may also break since moving parts tend to break. While a stationary night light with a power cord may have better longevity and value for the money, this little device does look cute and is very convenient while it lasts. Read more
