I bought 3 and they all came melted a bit. However, I put it on and it was watery/slippery at first then it adapts to your lips as it dries. The mint was noticeable, but there is no tingling on the lips or lasting scent/flavor. I don’t know if I would buy this again since it came melted🤷🏻‍♀️. Read more

This is a pretty good lip balm if you're looking for sun protection. It has SPF 15 and also contains many natural, moisturizing ingredients. I like that it comes in a wide tube - it is easy to apply (and the size also makes it easier to find if you throw it in a purse/backpack). I love the lavender mint scent. It smells very natural, and the mint makes my lips tingle slightly. I do wish this were a bit thicker on the lips, though. It applies very thinly, and you can't built it up. Most other lip balms I have tried have a much thicker consistency. Since this is so thin, I'm not sure if my lips are retaining as much moisture. It also feels like it wears off quickly. This is a good product for wearing out in the sun, but it's not something I reach for when I'm indoors. I would recommend it if you're outside frequently and want something that will provide SPF and be quick to apply. However, if you're looking for an intensely moisturizing product, you may want to try something different. Read more

As a huge fan of SOL LABS’ sunscreen, I was super excited to try their lip balm sunscreen. I only like to use natural ingredients and non-chemical sunscreens which are hard to find in the lip balm category. And when you do find them, they tend to be hard and waxy and leave a film on your lips that isn’t pleasant. This sunscreen comes in an oversized tube which feels elevated and expensive as soon as you open it. However, despite the oversized tube, the lip balm isn’t too big to use comfortably on your lips— it’s perfect. And just from the first touch to my lips, I could tell I was going to love this lip balm. It smelled great— a mix of lavender (my fave scent) and mint, making it feel both soothing and fresh-feeling. And the glide… wow, the glide. It glided right across my lips so smoothly and delivered the perfect hydrating coverage— not too oily but also not too dry. I kept puckering my lips together because it felt so good to rub them together. After about 20 or so minutes, I no longer felt any slickness on my lips but still felt the coverage, and my lips felt more soft and hydrated than before. I love that the only active ingredient is zinc oxide (8%). It’s also vegan, reef-friendly, cruelty-free and Paraben-free. I love to go on walks and always slather my face with sunscreen and wear a hat, but I was concerned about lip protection as well. Not anymore. This is going to be my new go-to lip balm whenever I leave my house. So thrilled to discover it.
