This is an awesome little alarm clock. It does get very loud, and it has a variety of ringtones that you can select. It also has a vibration function, so you can slip this little alarm under your pillow and it will wake you via vibration and sound or one or the other. It came with a very comprehensive manual explaining the features. It was fairly intuitive and simple to set the time and the alarm. The alarm sounds ranged from a beep that gets louder and louder, to birds chirping, to a vacuum type noise, weird techno music, and a very loud and annoying siren noise, which if all else fails should be the one you pick if you really need to wake up on time. The buttons are soft silicone. This can be charged directly via USBC or with the handy-dandy charger stand. I love it’s a nice muted, neutral tone and I can use the stand to keep it as a bedside clock. It is soft silicone with fabric so you can stick it under your pillow, so the vibrating helps to wake you. What’s also a great feature is that when your room is completely dark, the lighting on the alarm clock dims so it doesn’t disturb your sleep. It does a gradual dimming, depending on how dark it really is. This is just a really nice alarm clock that I feel is well worth the money. My husband is a hard man to wake up and he normally wants me to wake him but I don’t always want to. Therefore I bought him this to try. We place it right under his pillow which doesn’t stay in place all night but it does stay on the bed and doesn’t bother us as it’s a nice size. We dock this during the day to charge and it’s great.
