Solar charger works well and charges quickly (in bright sun). The picture is a little deceiving as it looks like the case has silicone grips on the side. But it is actually just a different color of plastic, so I does slip a little if used on the dashboard of a car or just holding in your hand. But now I don't have to worry about running out of power when out on the road. Read more
Back story, I have purchased 2 of a cheaper brand. Well, come to find out that they didn't work as described. I even bought 3 more for family Xmas gifts. I gave lousy presents this year. What a waste! NOW, I bought these as replacements. Yes, a little more $$$but, worth it, honest. They take about a day to fully realize charge. In Bright sunshine. You then can use these as portable power bank. OR, hook up your phone (it charges 2 items at a time) and the sun charges them without depleted power of the bank. These also can be charged with a USB. Which I use for initial use. Charges faster than solar. Then you keep them charged for whatever...mine sit on my bedroom windowsill. I REALLY LOVE THESE. Good to prep and store for the price. It worked fine til it quit. Looked good, worked well til it didn't. Quit charging and won't take a charge. Ran out of power shortly after return allowed. How convenient. Very disappointed. Read more
We purchased one of these about a year ago and it works so well we decided to get another. I hunted until I found the exact one and bought another. These are great to take on a trip, camping or just outside. It charges phone quickly and the solar feature is great! Highly recommend!!! Read more
Good product, except one is defective and due to restrictions on the item, cannot be returned or refunded. It uses the older micro-usb connection for charging, which will give you an idea of it's form factor. So far, one of them is still working as expected, the other one will no longer charge and of the 4 BLUE LEDs that indicated charge status, only the first one will light or blink, the other 3 no longer light. 4-stars. This would have been a 4-star rating if both units were still working, but only one is working. If the 2nd unit fails also (in a short time), I will come back and modify the review. Read more
