Background for POV of Vine reviews: I live in Puerto Rico, which means high humidity, frequent rain, and strong sun virtually year-round. Outdoor products are in use all year here. I’m also no great DIYer, so things need to work right out of the box with minimal instructions, assembly, or technical know-how. The reviews are written by me, but I do use AI for grammar and flow purposes. TL;DR: Fun, colorful solar lights with easy setup and flexible branches that brighten up garden beds. They auto-charge and switch on/off as expected, with steady or flashing modes. Biggest drawbacks are the short length of most lights and a ground stake tip that comes off too easily. ----------------- The two units come snugly wrapped in their box plus a stake extension part for each. Once assembled, you’ll have something that is roughly 26” long. At the halfway point, there’s the solar panel and the on/off switch is below. Each top has five “branches” of four lights each (blue, green, red, and yellow). You can bend each of the main branches a bit and then each individual light itself a bit more. I measured about 13” from tip to tip between the two outermost lights. On the switch below the solar panel, “Off” is off (duh), the middle position is perma-on, while the “On” is the flashing mode. The lights flash all together, not randomly. The lights switch off automatically once the panel receives enough sun to start charging. These are some very fun lights. I’m already perma-using them, in the corners of the two front garden beds, sort of intertwined with the respective Basil and Oregano there. I’ll only have to make sure that the solar panels get enough sun. I’m deducting a point for the relatively short length of most lights. The longest of each set of four is about 6.5”, but the other three are shorter. Also, the pointy tip that goes into the ground came off too easily, which would likely be a problem for those installing them yearly. Read more
