I purchased these to install on the top deck of our boathouse/dock to provide evening illumination. The build quality is good and so far after a full year of everyday use they are still working fine (hope I didn't just jinx it). Batter tends to las for over 8 hours. Bright enough to see from distance and to help with walking at night. Only negative is that the screws provided to install them outdoors should have been galvanized as they are already rusting. These lights have worked out great for us. I have them installed on our dock, right out in the wide open and the weather. All lights worked as they should right out of the box. Some have said that they don't last long or all night. Well, I'm here to tell you (at least with mine) they come on at about 6:00 at night, and by 6:00 the next morning they are still going strong. Maybe others have theirs in a spot where they can't get enough sunlight? IDK. I have mine on the blue light, which is surprisingly bright. Probably won't change them to the white because I would have to unscrew them to get to the switch on the bottom. Not worth the effort for me. They have a nice aluminum housing. The light shines in 360', and they're low profile. Nothing I don't like about them. I got the eight (8) pack, although I only need 4 at the moment. I figure if I have a problem down the road, I have an exact match to replace them. Always seems like when you need more they are "No Longer Available".
