I have purchased 3 pkgs of these beautiful lights. I love them! They cast a lovely design throughout my backyard. They all work nicely. They have been up for a month and have been doing well. Glass and aluminum shell
UPDATE: Well darn; after about 8 months of using this pair, one of them is still working perfectly and continuing to have long lasting performance at night and still looks like new, while the other one now suffers from a strange confusion (or electrical short) where it turns on during the day and off at night. A lot of money for something that loses such basic functionality so quickly. Taking off one star. ***** Sturdy and bright lights, with thick glass walls and and an attractivle machined gold aluminum top with a large solar panel; such a nice change from all the plastic! While there is a brightness dial, I found that even on the dimmest setting, that the light is more than bright enough (photos taken dimmest setting). Even on dark and rainy days, the solar panels are large enough to provide many long hours of nighttime illumination. The stalk and base are also made of aluminum, providing enough strength and anchoring to support the heavy glass top. Light color is neutral to slightly warm. Read more

Beautiful, quality lights
These are so nice. I haven't had much luck with solar garden lights in the past but so far, so good with these. They are beautiful and very good quality. The dimmable switch is really nice as well as the metal stakes. Very happy. We'll see how they hold up. Read more
