I've been very happy with this six pack of solar pathway lights and think they’ve been a great addition to my yard. They’re completely self-contained, charge during the day, and run about six or seven hours at night. At first glance they look like very expensive metal lights, but they’re actually lightweight plastic. I was pretty worried they wouldn't hold up to the elements outside, but they’ve handled strong winds and even a hail storm without any issues. The light they give off is also very soft, rich, and really lovely. This is a great pack of put-it-in-and-forget-it lighting for your landscape, and the price is very reasonable for the look you get. I absolutely love these solar lights. They were so easy to install. It took me about 10 minutes to install the six of them. They look so much more expensive than they actually are. The only thing I wish was that they were about 6 inches deep into the ground instead of 3 inches. But they make my front walkway look about $1000 more expensive than they are. Absolutely love it! The media could not be loaded. This is a product that is hard to love, but also hard to hate. Let's do pros and cons. Cons: Upon opening these solar lights, I was met with a feeling of disappointment. These lights are made of very lightweight plastic. The body AND the stake are both plastic, while the entire light is contained within the head of the unit, which slides onto the plastic body. I don't see this plastic lasting very long in the elements, although the listing says it's weather resistant. Only time will tell, but as far as material quality, this does not FEEL like a high quality item. However..... Pros: Everything you need to work this light is contained within the head of the unit. Yes, the con is also a pro. No need for dealing with wires. It's completely waterproof. It feels very minimalistic. Make sure to switch it to "ON". The stake, surprisingly, actually does its job pretty well. I struggled to press the unit into the ground until I realized I could step on it. It sank in smoothly. I had no issues installing, whatsoever. Also, the lights are actually bright! I've had solar lights before that just kind of glowed. These LEDs are much brighter than expected and last all night! They also look really nice, despite being plastic. So, make your own decision. I'm posting images so you can see the vibe they give day and night. It's possible I would actually get more of these if I need them, just so they match the others. They work pretty well. Considering the plastic, the price feels a little high, however, considering the quality of the light itself, I kind of understand. This is a beautiful set of outdoor solar lights. The brightness is perfect, and the light quality is impeccable. These are very easy to put together and put in the ground. They also look sleek, which is different than some of the other solar light sets. I put these in the ground and even move them around with no issues. These aren't great enough to give 5 stars. I've given them 3 because they work, they charge, they come on when it's dark. But the picture is very deceiving. Add that to the price and you think you're getting something much nicer. The price is way too much for the quality. They are very lightweight cheap plastic, like they were 3D printed. Each one of these only weighs 6.2 oz. I would probably pay $20-30 and feel like that was fair. Each light consists of 4 plastic pieces that are flimsier than a knockoff lego and come apart easier. I guess that's a good thing rather than them breaking when they are bumped, but I digress. I put them on the walkway out to my garden so that I could go out at night and not step on a snake and that any critters would see me coming and scoot. It works for that. The problem is if I drag a hose out there and brush up against it or bump it to pull a weed they come right out of the ground or fall apart. So I just stick them back together. It's not hard, just annoying. I have gotten to the point where I just take them out if I'm working around them and put them back together when I'm done. I do like the fact that they aren't super bright because we love our fireflies. But I wouldn't buy these again. I'll eventually get something more sturdy for the walk and move these to inside the garden where no one is walking. Read more
