I took only one out of the packaging. It was odd because nothing was taped together and the poles and styrofoam particles went everywhere. I could have lived with that (although it might have meant they were a return) I took one globe out. I test the light on both 50% and on full setting. It felt heavy and of high quality and looked absolutely beautiful until I inserted the pole into the globe exactly as instructed. I was very gentle and the bottom reflector piece shot off and the whole globe wobbled. That’s because the tiny screw that holds the stem to secure to the reflector thing plastic broke off. For such a beautiful light, it’s a shame that the weak link is in a tiny piece of reflector glass. The heavy head of the globe in addition to putting the pole in sets this light up for an inevitable stress fracture rendering the light unusable. I discovered this all in 5 minutes. I didn’t try any of the other 3 lights. It could have been a one off production issue but I am not will to take my chances on that one critical structural joint that broke when assembling exactly per the instructions. Read more
