This is pretty cool, seems to be made pretty well, plenty of light for our 7 x 11' shed, mounted the solar panel on the side of the shed outside and with it facing the sun direction works fine at charging the battery, plenty of electrical cable to allow flexibility in mounting the light and the solar panel, I like walking in the door and having the pull string for the on/off right as you enter, pretty happy with it so far, especially for the price! We bought one of these to try in one of our chicken coops. This light works perfectly. I love that we did not have to run electrical cord, pretty easy set up too. I like that the pull cord isn't on the actual light, but the battery source making it so we don't have to fumble in the dark to find it. I have a shed remotely located from any power source, so I was looking for a solar powered light that did not require a remote. I selected this one, which I kept because it has a pull switch on the selector panel, as well as a second solar powered light (with a remote) which I ended up giving to my son. All necessary parts were provided and instructions were clear. The system was very easy to install. I installed it early in the day, to give it time to charge, then I went out after it got dark and turned it on. My shed measures 10'x12' and the output from the lamp was just what I had been looking for. The solar panel is mounted to the exterior of my shed, facing south. There are trees around the shed location, but I believe that the lower-angle morning sun will provide enough energy to keep the battery charged up. I installed the unit in Jan so there are no leaves on the trees at the moment. I cannot address reliability at this time as I've only had it installed for a week, but am hoping that it will last for at least a few years.
