This sweater looks so cute in the listing, but the reality of it is a more than a little disappointing. First of all, the sizing. In order to get the look of the sweater on the model, you’d have to size WAY up. I’m guessing the model is wearing a size large or XL. The listing says, “Size recommendation: Please refer to size chart which we provide in our photos (The product measurement is clothes size, NOT body measurement).” However, at the time of this writing, there is no size chart ANYWHERE in the listing, and I don’t recall seeing one when I ordered, but if it was there, I followed it. I ordered the small, and it is more like a bolero sweater with how high it comes up my back. The sleeves are also too short. Second, the “pearls” are not in a neat lines as shown but are kind of jaggedly placed, and one was even missing—in a pretty conspicuous area—on the sweater I received. It was not loose in the packaging, so it must have been lost before it was packaged. I have no way to replace it (though I don’t know how I would attach it if I had it). Finally, I haven’t washed the sweater yet, but I don’t think I would even trust this sweater in a mesh laundry bag on gentle cycle in my machine. You’d have to hand wash it and lay it flat to dry, and that is too high maintenance for me. On the positive side, the sweater is soft, though my (much smaller) daughter didn’t want it because she felt it was scratchy. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 123#, 34C, and I ordered a size small. This sweater is beautiful. I ordered a small based on the size chart but it does not have the oversized look as shown on the model. I am 5'2" 130 lbs, 28" waist. A medium would have been a more relaxed or oversized fit for me. However, I still like how soft and pretty this sweater looks. Definitely use a mesh laundry bag to prevent scratches on the pearl trim. Read more
