Well made torch for cooking, lighting candles, any match or lighter related task. We purchased this for our kitchen to use for browning desserts for Christmas. It worked perfectly. This is my second torch from Sondiko, and I really like these. Had the first one for about three years with no issue but eventually the trigger went bad on me. Not upset at all, paid the extra for a green one this go around. Functions just as the other did. The one thing with these torches is they don't hold much gas at all, and further the fill line marking is usually marked too high. When filling just fill it until it flows back at you and stop, don't worry about a bit of liquid, it will turn to gas/evoporate very quickly. That aside, comfortable design, solid construction, and reliable daily use for years. Features a flame lock on button instead of the safety button as on other torches of the kind. This is also great for repeated and daily use. The flame on max is quite ample in size and heat. Wether you are baking cookies or baking your brain this torch is great for either. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The torch works very well, ignites instantly, and the flame is stable. I use it for cooking and small repairs. It's easy to refill with butane, and the design is comfortable to hold. Excellent quality. Read more
Love these, but hate filling them. They work great and I really like the trigger on it. I have another brand that has a button on the back and it is a lot more cumbersome to use than this one. Plenty of heat for whatever job you need it for, turn it wide open and there is a monster flame. I use it mostly turned all the way down, it still has enough heat that I have to be careful if I'm working on wiring. The overall design is good, just one real problem. Filling them sucks. You waste 2/3 of the butane container because the fill pin is too small for most butane container nozzles. I have the same issue with the other brand of torch. I use Ronsonol and Weller brands, so they aren't some strange knockoff butane system. Read more
It was simple to use and it worked great. It appears to be well built. Make sure to add the correct tip when filling up the butane, fill it upside down and don’t over fill. We used it for Crème Brûlée. Read more
A fantastic torch for a great price, straight up, no bs. I've had mine for several years now and the only thing wrong with it is that the "stay on" button doesn't work anymore, but that's honestly not an issue for me. The flame is big and hot, but controllable. If you hold down on the -Gas switch while it's on you can get it even smaller. Obviously the flame is largest when the tank is full, and slowly dies down as you use it, but it lasts a good while. You can use pretty much any standard butane as far as I can tell. One thing to be aware of is if it's about full liquid butane will build up in the area around the valve and will probably splash you. It's cold but so long as you don't prolong contact you'll be fine. It's great for all kinds of stuff from lighting incense, candles, or cigars (cigarettes, joints, etc.) to caramelizing sugars and meringues. TLDR: I highly recommend this torch, I've thoroughly enjoyed mine and so have the people I've gifted one to. It's simple, easy to use, and of good quality. Read more
This is a great little torch. I use it constantly for 3D printing tasks (cleaning up stringing, softening material, etc) and it works very well. It is well made, easy to refill, and stands up to constant repeated on/off cycles with no issues so far. Read more
