The extra length is WORTH a few more dollars for the 55” over the normal 48” storage mirrors! Received this for my birthday and used the wall mounted version—although the door mounted brackets seemed high quality. The templates made it easy to align the holes but with all products, my hubby opted for better quality mounting hardware. Took us about 15 minutes. Suggest using better hardware for your home’s type of walls. Boy oh boy does this thing have a LOT of space! Why on earth did I not get this sooner was all I could keep saying. The package was very good and came in perfect condition. I love all of the little shelves and cubbies to tuck pins and random mementos in that you want to hang onto. I have a few dozen fine jewelry necklaces and there’s ample dedicated space for rings and earrings, bracelets and watches. The white blends into the background nicely and the lock and overall sturdiness are excellent. I didn’t bother with the light but I appreciate the feature. I did note that depending on how high you hang it, as I did, the inside mirror may be too high to use. I don’t intend to use this for makeup so I opted to hang it higher rather than have to bend over to find items on the lower shelves. This product, for the price, packs a lot of features and makes looking for jewelry almost fun as opposed to trying to keep a traditional jewelry box organized. And it’s a nice wall mirror too! The media could not be loaded. Just what I was looking for. I love that it hangs on the wall, and doubles as a full length mirror. It holds a lot of jewelry, and is very versatile. The LED light inside is helpful. My only negative is the location of the mirror inside. I am 5'2, if I wanted to use the mirror installed inside, I would have to hang the mirror less than a foot from the ground. I just use the mirror on the outside door. Read more

It’s good and holds a lot. The door is strong and stays closed without having to lock it up. Sometimes the magnets are a little too strong and it is difficult to get the cabinet open without flinging things out of the door. The lock is sturdy too and the two keys are nice aswell. I don’t particularly like how much it bounces when the door swings and would love if it came with a foam bracer pad to add at the bottom or a sticky strip to secure it a bit more and keep the noise down. I never write reviews but since I had to research this so much I will. I can lift it onto my closet door myself! I’m 5’6” and I can use the inner mirror on my tip toes which is good enough for me. The length is so long (I got the 55”) it’s very full length. And you can use the earring rack for necklaces if you don’t have many earrings. I purchased this storage mirror mainly to consolidate some of the jewelry on my nightstand. The mirror came well packaged and had no breaks in the glass. It is a little tough to open, but that should get better over time. Inside there is plenty of storage for my jewelry along with a few additional storage options for makeup and beauty products (more storage than I need). I love that it is almost a full body mirror and that there is a locking option for more private items. The wood color and texture is beautiful, and it hangs perfectly on my bathroom door. Read more
