The boxes are narrow so don't expect to have every shoe pair to be placed on their soles, some pairs depending on width may have one on the sole and one on the side. Other than that really easy to put together and take apart. Be aware, the plastic is flimsy, other than other shoes, I wouldn't stack anything on top of these north of 4 pounds. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I would like to preface this review that if my husband tried to put this together when I ask him to: I would 100000% have returned this product. But the window for return was no longer available. Don’t get me wrong, although I got these pieces together. This product is a flaming heaping pile of crap. I truly didn’t think there was any way of getting these pieces together — key tip use a counter top or you will never achieve the leveling needed to click into place. I must’ve watched and reread the garbage instructions 30 times and it did me no good. This was put together on my sheer willpower & of pure HATRED & knowing I wasn’t throwing my money down the toilet. The product is flimsy & the boxes are misleading in photos. For the same price I had these amazing sturdy boxes from Costco that were double the size, incredibly durable, and actually were worth my money. Unfortunately they have been out of stock for over a year & scoured the entire earth to try to find them with no success & I ain’t paying no thief on eBay 5x the price. Lastly, I would like to say in my two decades of Amazon purchasing this pissed me off to a new level that it actually required me to actually review it for the first time in my life. These are GREAT! First, if you're struggling to assemble them, be patient and don't give up. I thought it was impossible at first, but eventually got the hang of it. Then it was quick and easy. Once you fit the end piece onto the clear box, the front piece with the door goes on easily. The only reason I took off a star is because you can't customize the number of boxes you get. I got a set of 12, and I only need 2 more, but I have to order another set of 12. But anyway, after figuring out how to assemble them, I absolutely LOVE them. I'm a woman with a size 11 foot, and I got the 12-count that fits size 11. There's ample room for my shoes, although I don't have any extremely high heels and I don't have high-top sneakers...but if I did, they'd probably fit. No doubt these are for a MENS size 11, so it worked out well for me. They seem flimsy before you assemble them, but they're surprisingly sturdy once put together. I only have stacks of two because they sit on my shelves, but that doubled my space! They have ventilation holes, but at the same time, they protect shoes from dust. The doors shut tightly enough that my dog, who loves my footwear more than she loves ground hamburger, probably won't open them. I don't even think she recognizes the shoes are in there....these boxes seem to have removed the temptation. I highly recommend these....they're a wonderful organizational product, and they're nice for protecting shoes. Again, I wish it were possible to customize the number of boxes, but I still consider them worth it. They're surprisingly affordable for a quality product! Read more

After reading all of the comments about these boxes being hard to assemble, we were apprehensive, to say the least. Then there were an equal number of comments about them being easy to assemble! Confusion! After reading the enclosed instructions, we tried to assemble them for 3 days and thought we would have to return them. Finally, however, Amazon AI mentioned that many people mentioned watching YouTube videos about the assembly! Duh! Here's what you have to know that was not made clear to us in the instructions. The small tabs on either short side of the box have to be folded down. Once that is done, the ends snap right on with no problems at all! We are very happy now with our purchase and highly recommend these sturdy shoe boxes! Read more
