The PS5 media remote is a fantastic addition to the PlayStation setup. It looks great and matches the console and controller perfectly with that modern white design. I wasn’t sure about the white at first, but it’s really grown on me and it definitely looks clean and sleek. Setup is super easy, and it connects right to the PlayStation and can even control your TV’s volume and power. The battery life is good, though the included Sony batteries didn’t last super long, but that’s an easy fix—just pop in some better ones and you’re good to go. It’s comfortable to hold, minimalistic in a good way, and it basically turned my PS5 into the main media hub in the living room. Use this all the time, battery seems to not last very long but I travel a lot so it might be keep turning on when in the suitcase. Capable of controlling tv using IR, easy to setup on PS5 menu. Comfortable in the hand and good quality for the money. 2 AA batteries included. Cannot control games, only media, obviously. Read more

Was great & awesome to use instead of the ps5 controller. Until suddenly it just doesn't work. New batteries don't fix the problem. Just dead, and a quick Google search find out they die on everyone. Colossal disappointment, the media remote I had for my Xbox was bulletproof. Point one for Microsoft. Read more
