I have had this TV now for 2 months and it's been excellent, pretty much everything I was hoping it to be. The picture quality is great and the speakers are very respectable but it can still benefit greatly from a soundbar or home theater setup. I'm very happy with this purchase overall, especially now that it's all setup but I will say getting it setup was a bit of a pain because it has tons of setting options to play around with that can feel a bit overwhelming. Initially I was feeling disappointed with the brightness until I realize how to fix that setting by turning off the ambient mode so just be aware the setting might take bit to get through but once past that the TV performs like a gem. Coming from a Samsung S90D, the motion smoothing is a lot better on Sony. Streaming is night and day better on Sony for motion. The S90D had artifacts galore even setting judder at 1. Using physical media artifacts are much less on both, but the Sony still wins with zero motion issues or image problems. So if you want smooth motion with zero artifacts go Sony. Older content also much better on Sony, S90D looks like trash compared. The only thing S90D has a slight edge is picture clarity, it’s a smidge better on Samsung, the kind of image quality has been beaten. Will you notice, no. Highlights on reflective surfaces are noticeably better on S90D, mostly gaming you’ll notice the improvement. The S90D takes A LOT of tweaking to get a good image in gaming or movies. The Sony does not. It looks amazing out of the box. The S90D has the worst game picture out of the box, you HAVE to change everything. For a TV to live with for the next 10 years, I would be in constant regret owning the S90D by itself. Hence I bought the A95L, it does everything. My S90D is a PC monitor now and gaming only, the S90D does have more 3D depth for gaming, but it takes A LOT of setting changes) The Sony looks amazing in movies handles motion 10x better than the S90D with artifacts and chopping. Gaming just raise the color volume to 65 and boom you have what my S90D looks like but with the hours of setting changes. It’s expensive yes, but if you have to live with it. Spend the extra you’ll be happy you did. Low bit content upscaling and motion smoothing is an easy $1000 upgrade over Samsung Read more

In love with this tv, I have an s90c in my living and even if they both use the same qd oled panel this one wins in movie consumption. Hoping it lasts Read more

Best TV on the market. Google TV was why I purchased it. No burn in. Excellent quality. Love this panel. It's been almost a year and everything is like the day I bought it. No problems, great dark room experience, and the Google TV interface makes life easier. Remote is great and responsive. Updates are frequent and appreciated. We use a Sonos Arc sound bar but I think the Sony panel would be adequate. There's nothing negative about this panel and I'm.glad I purchased it. Read more

Everything, especially 4K movies with HDR, have never looked better. It does have wide legs on either end and not in the middle, so be sure that the tv can fit whatever you are placing it on. Read more

This could be a really nice tv but Google has ruined it. There is a Google layer of extremely complex and difficult technology between the tv’s operating system and the user. All that Google technology turns a normal 15 minute set up into more than 6 hours. If the buyer is a Google engineer it might be less difficult but for the average user it’s a nightmare. I’ll give two stars because the picture quality is excellent. My recommendation is bypass that Google headache and go get a FireStick or Roku, plug in to an HDMI and in 15 minutes you have a great tv with an easy set-up. Read more
