Do not rely on anyone helping you after the TV is in your home. Do your homework. Make sure this is the TV you want. I have used this TV as nothing more than that, a TV, since day one of turning it on and hooking it up in December 2019. I have not connected it to the internet. I use my Roku for that. For myself, I have been satisfied with the audio coming from the TV. I have sensitive hearing so I rarely ever use the Sony Audio system I have attached to this TV. I did make adjustments to the TV settings...starting from Rtings website and tweaking them to my liking. I think that if you get this TV, you will be happy. Enjoy. Read more

The choice came down to the Sony Z9F or the A9G OLED. The picture of both sets put any competitor to shame due to the Sony processor. Being colorblind I found the more vivid color to came from the LED set Z9F. The sound using. tv speakers is ok , we have the set hooked up to a sound system and the audio is outstanding. Another overlooked benefit is the Z9F ‘s stand . It is much wider and more sturdy than the A9G. It also sits higher allowing for a center channel speaker to be placed in front. Add that they both are Master Series, you can’t go wrong! Once a Sony owner ...Always a Sony owner! Read more

The TV was delivered promptly in the time window specified, no damage. Assembly of the base and set up to your home Wifi and cable provider is super simple, takes less than 15 minutes and minimal lifting help for such a large TV. I've had it running for around a week thus far, no issues. The picture quality is exceptional, sound appropriate for built in speakers, mine will eventually be connected to a surround system, as likey most people will do with a TV of this size. Overall very happy with the purchase. Read more

Stunning picture quality, even in my bring living room. Solid made, a bit heavy, but manageable to hang on the wall with 2 people. There are 2 things I wish it has, but not a deal breaker; (1) remote with backlit; (2) the HDMI connections are from the side. Nevertheless it’s an excellent buy. Lastly kudos to Walts TV for such fast shipping was fast. Fedex delivery made me a bit nervous, though. However it seems SONY has that covered with its packaging. Read more

Excellent picture and wide viewing angle. Way better than my Samsung QN65Q9F ihat died after a year. The Samsung's picture even after proper adjustment, crushes black in dark scenes and is useless in dark movies, very disappointing. The Sony is excellent with dark scenes and viewable in very wide angles. You lose picture even slightly off center with Samsung. Overall excellent quality with the Sony except for sound. Better use external sound system for movies. Read more

Very upset with Amazon. Waited 2 weeks and the TV finally arrived today! Inspected the box, it looked perfect and new. Carefully unboxed and set up TV. Plugged in TV and powered on and BROKEN LCD SCREEN!!!!!! After this, I Lost faith in Amazon for TV's at least. This 2018 Z9F 65" TV has must have been sitting around in a warehouse for well over a year so who knows. Now I probably will buy a Sony X950H 65" from Best Buy, they will price match Amazon and deliver in 1 day. Moral of this story... Buyer beware. Read more

The Sony Bravia XBR65Z9F is a high-end TV that's great at many things, but falls short of the OLED competition. It excels as a gaming TV, with a sharp picture and fast response rate. It's a fantastic choice for both console and PC gaming. Similarly for most television shows, it works fantastically too. In the cases of gaming and TV, people will appreciate the excellent brightness and general clarity. The Android-powered smart features are very good too. I greatly prefer Sony's offerings over Samsung's, but like LG's a tiny bit more. I can completely understand someone liking Sony smart features of LG's though. Where this television falls short is for movies and 4K television. The contrast ratio and black levels are noticeably mediocre. For a television at this price point, that's hard to forgive. For the same or similar amount of money, you'll get a much better cinematic viewing experience on an OLED television. The VA panel on the Sony Bravia XBR65Z9F can't compete. Overall, I can't recommend this TV for multipurpose (movies, tv, games) use. Gamers will love its brightness and low input lag, but there are much better choices if you're viewing movies and 4K content. Read more

I don't usually write reviews. Bought my TV from Video and Audio Center on Amazon. TV arrived with vertical lines. Video and Audio Center replaced the TV, fantastic customer service. Second TV is fantastic, great picture, no blooming, no light bleeding, etc. Loving my Sony 65Z9F. Only complaint is its not the 75". Read more
