I don't normally enjoy linen material because it wrinkles so bad! I couldn't find a full material tag but I'm pretty sure these are linen or a linen blend. I was surprised they didn't wrinkle too bad after a whole day of wearing. I'm thinking it may be because they are a bit thicker. Even though the fabric is a little thick, I still enjoy wearing these with a nice tank and cute sandals on a hot day. The wide leg adds air conditioning! Haha :) I like the leg because it's not ridiculously wide either. No 70s bell bottom vibe. Just a nice wide leg pant that is good for work on hot days. I got the xl short and they fit perfectly. I am about a 16-18 in pants, on the smaller side of that. Unstretched, laying flat, the waist is right at 18". The length is definitely on the short side (but ordered short). I'm 5'5" and the short length likely won't fit taller than me. The length laying flat is about 38". The rise is about 12". There are REAL pockets front and back too! Nice deep ones in front! That right there is a bonus. Overall, very comfy and acceptable for office casual with a nice top. Could also be a good beach pant! One thing I noticed is they do not like the dryer! They'll shrink, even on lower heat. I had to rewash and hang dry. Otherwise, they surprisingly didn't wrinkle too bad and have real pockets! I like them :) Read more

I am 5'4", 115 lbs. for reference and I was excited to see that these pants were offered in a shorter length being that I usually order petite sizing. Overall, these are decent enough, but they definitely aren't perfect. I have a few pair of similarly styled linen pants and something about the cut of these pants isn't amazing...it isn't horrible, but it isn't great. There is too much fabric in the front below the waist so it looks and feels a little awkward. I can remedy this by folding the waist band over, but obviously that isn't ideal...I wish they just fit right without me having to do that. Also, the fabric is a tad scratchy, just not the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever worn. I would say these are somewhere between three and four stars. The concept is there, but the cut and the fabric aren't top notch. Read more

I was very happy with the quality of these pants- nice linen blend (doesn't arrive wrinkly) but it's also soft and comfy. For me, it seemed more like a wide leg pant versus a flare at the bottom, but I liked that. I'm 5'6" and I got a large - which is a little long, so i can either roll them or get them hemmed - but I was able to wear them out as is, no problem. Read more
