All the stitching around the waistband, the fly, and the pockets is clean and well-finished. The waistband is slightly stretchy and forgiving as far as fit goes. These are actually great light weight shorts for the summer, they are not lined or have netting in them that cause them to be uncomfortable and the material is soft on the skin. They have belt loops so if you get a size up for any reason you can always use a belt but it's not necessary if you get the exact right size. These shorts are such that you can wear them in a more dressed up way or dress them down and be more casual. The color is wonderful! The only thing is the length. For a taller fella it will definitely fall above the knee and if that is not your guys style I would not get these. But I like them! My husband is tall but they still look nice at this height.
