I ordered these shorts while trying to find something comparable to some Lulu shorts that I own and wear daily for hanging out, exercise, etc. The fit is true to size and the cut is modern. The pockets seem a bit shallower than other shorts I have, but they hold my phone and keys just fine. The waistband is a wide elastic and there is a drawstring but I did not need to tie it. The material is more of a semi-stretchy nylon and is very thin and lightweight. The small zipper pocket on the side is a nice touch to make it easy to stash car keys or other valuables while working out. I like the fact that there is a fake fly on the front, which adds just enough formality to wear these to casual places without looking like you are wearing workout shorts. These shorts are awesome, they have nice, deep pockets and a very good quality elastic waistband. Most times I don't need to use the drawstring because the elastic is that good! I have great mobility in these as I'm running around and they dry quickly.
