I bought these as a substitute for white shorts that I always fall back on. They are really cute and feminine and I love the zipper pockets for cell phone, etc. I am 5'7" tall and weigh 130. I bought the large. I probably could have sized back to a medium, but I like the length and the way they flow. They are not tight around my waist (32") but snug enough to stay up with my cell phone inside. As others have mentioned they were very wrinkled out of the bag, but I used a medium warm steam iron and they came out beautiful. Also, there is no real hem - just the end of the fabric! Seriously one of the most comfortable shorts in my closet. I love the length and the sizing is perfect. I would say for the girlies with thicker legs it will ride up a bit but still comfortable and nothing to worry about since there’s tight fitting shorts underneath that cover everything that that needs to be covered. I was disappointed when I tried these on and they were shorts. They pulled in around the crotch area. Looked bad. Plus there is no hem, it’s a raw edge which is cheap. But someone in reviews said they cut them to make them into a skirt—BRILLIANT! Here the raw edge made it possible. Now they look really cute. Even went back for another in navy. Cut them too.
