This jacket is very lightweight. It doesn't look cheap at all, but it doesn't provide a lot of warmth either. I wear it to the gym when it's a little chilly in the morning and I just want a light layer to cover my arms. The cut is interesting - the body is several inches shorter than the sleeves. I wish the body was a little longer. I do appreciate the length of the sleeves. I also like that it has pockets. It is quite comfortable - really soft fabric - with no scratchy edges and everything looks finished nicely. I got it in the light blue. I don't think the color in real life is quite as vibrant as it looks in the photos online. I was hoping it would be a little closer to a Tiffany blue with a hint of turquoise, but it is really is a true baby blue. In this pale color, and with the lightweight fabric, it is a little see-through. At the time of my review, it's available with coupon for $26. As with "cropped" pants, this jacket isn't cropped on me (I'm 5'4.5"). It hits me just slightly lower than it does on the model (I wouldn't call it cropped on her either). For this style of jacket, I find that to be perfect - this style isn't one I'd want to feel like I'm bundled up in someone else's jacket. It's perfect for when you want to play outdoors (boating, tennis, walking, etc) as it protects you from the sun and is still fairly lightweight. It isn't something I'd use when it's particularly cold out, but in the shoulder seasons it keeps me warm when there's a chill in the air until I move around enough to be warm. Also, as someone who burns easily, the sun protection is a big plus. After recently vacationing in the Virgin Islands and realizing I had forgotten to bring a sun shirt, I'm going to have one of these in my beach travel bag so I don't have to worry about forgetting one again. Wouldn’t pay full price, but at the promo 1/2 off it might be a keeper. It is a thinner material won’t keep you warm but good as a covering for the sun. Runs big in the back so material just hangs at the bottom . Thumb holes are small and tight. It’s semi cropped , so it sits at a good length to pair with leggings. Item quality not super impressive. Fabric feels thin and cheap quality. It is a lightweight workout jacket. I like that the pockets have zipper closure and that there are thumb holes. I can’t speak to how sun proof it is. Fits true to size. Read more

This sun protection jacket nearly met my expectations. It looks exactly as listed. The color is the same vibrant pink as pictured in the listing. It is certainly true to size, fitting me perfectly without the thumb holes in use. When I inserted my thumbs in the base of the sleeves, it seems to be a bit tight fitting, but not too tight that it’s uncomfortable. I think that’s exactly how is supposed to fit though in order for it to remain on your thumb. The material is much thinner than I expected it to be, but it is surprisingly a very high quality material despite being thin. You can certainly see light through it if placed in the sun, but it seems it still protects well against sun damage. Because it’s so thin, this can be worn in a variety of weather conditions without overheating which is great for being outdoors and being active. The stitch is immaculate with no loose threads. It’s stitched well inside of it as well as at the seams and around the thumb holes. I expect the structure to maintain itself for a very long time to come. The pockets are lined and there’s an interior second set of pockets to help with the overall structure. The main zipper is very smooth and easy to use, but the pocket zippers seem slightly stiff. I think the stiffness is due to it just being a more narrow zipper. Overall, this jacket is thoughtfully designed and certainly one that I would order again and expect to last for a long time to come. I fully recommend anyone to order it! Read more

I got this Soothfeel UPF 50+ sun jacket and it’s become one of those easy grab-and-go pieces. With regard to fit, I am 39 bust, 140# and 5'2" tall. I generally wear a size 10 pant and 12+ top. I got an XL but could have easily downsized to a large. The armholes and shoulder width is a bit too wide for me. This style of jacket is intended to be a little on the more snug side and the XL didn't fit that way. It’s super lightweight and breathable, perfect for warm days when you want sun protection without feeling overheated. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and dries quickly, so it works well for walking, hiking, workouts, or even just running errands. I really like the zip-up design and stand-up collar—it zips smoothly and gives extra coverage for the neck without feeling tight or scratchy. The thumb holes are a nice bonus and help keep the sleeves in place while also protecting your hands from the sun. The pockets are surprisingly useful for such a light jacket.
