These patches work well to cover an existing bump and can help to draw out excess moisture. It provides a protective barrier that prevents friction and they work very well in that way. I haven't had any adverse effects from these pimple patches. They feel fine with them on and afterwards too. The stickiness is generally okay, but if they are put somewhere with a bit of motion, like close to your mouth, there is a chance these will fall off. They rub off fairly easy so unless you're a still sleeper, these may fall off during sleep. They are small and thin. Even with hydrocolloid, they can only absorb a bit due to the thinness. The salicylic acid is quite useful for pimples but I'm unsure how much is actually in it to be effective since these are so small. If you want something not too visible, these are good for that. However, they are fairly obvious, especially because they have a shiny surface. I'd recommend them as having them covered even with a little hydrocolloid dressing and salicylic acid should be beneficial. I just wish they were a bit stickier, but they probably would need to be a bit larger then or it seems some super sticky bandages seem to irritate the skin. Read more
