SOTHYS Glow Defense Cream | Daily Face Moisturizer for Dull Skin | Hydrating Cream Supports Radiant, Dewy Complexion | Smooths Texture & Softens Skin | For All Skin Types This cream is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it well‑hydrated without any greasy feeling or residue. It has a subtle herbal scent (possibly ginger), which is mild and not overpowering. I also appreciate that it comes with a spatula, making it easy to apply the cream hygienically. Made in France, it feels like a quality product. Read more
Good skin care routines can begin at any age, but I will admit I didn’t really get into a solid ritual until I hit my fifties. One side of my family has good skin that seemingly doesn’t ever age, while the other side of my family suffers from dry and flaky skin that tends to wrinkle early. I’m lucky I was older when I began to see visible lines and wrinkles, but my niece who is in her 20’s has already begun having patches of dry skin on her face and arms. I was thrilled to receive this luxury jar of Sothys in a larger 1.69 ounce size I could share with my niece. The cream is a blend of fancy botanicals like Siberian ginseng, Elderberry and Nasturtium among others. The scent is a sort of licorice and citrus due to the addition of anise bulb. Some people mentioned that they do not care for it, but I found it to be light enough. The cream comes from France and is a premium brand that delivers what it promises. It’s not greasy at all, and comes with an applicator paddle so you don’t put your fingers in the jar. Use it. I found the effects to be quick on me, and a radiance to my skin developed shortly after absorption, which is a bit on the slow side, and I take that as a good sign. My niece also liked it on her skin and we are both very happy with the results. If you can, treat yourself to a jar of this lovely and very fancy French moisturizer. Read more

As I near my 70s, my face looks like a touch piece of leather, my cheeks like croc skin, and my beard like an old brush. My wife has been recommending Sothys to me and I'm glad I gave it a try. After 2 weeks, there was a notable difference in my skin tone and texture. + Moisture: This cream works hard on rough spots, flaking, leathery patches, and even beard dandruff. I've been using this after an exfoliating cleanser for extra smoothness; it works like a dream without feeling heavy and greasy when applied in just the right amount. I go with a pea sized blot for my whole face, a tad extra for my neck. It really is a game changer on parched areas; a little goes a long way. + Restoring! This does some type of witchcraft on nasty, flaky skin and crepey/leathery wrinkles. After 2 weeks of use, night and day, I saw a visible difference that my wife noticed too. The most apparent is around my eyes and the discolorations and dryness on my cheeks. I'm looking less sallow and there's hands-down some good lifting around my eyes; makes me look younger! + Formula: this stuff applies buttery smooth and absorbs quick. It can be easy to overapply, so a little goes a long way. It hasn't caused me any breakouts or irritated the flaking areas of my skin, treating my skin like a champ while working hard espeically where I see the skin beneath my beard flaking. It's a boss when it comes to moisturizing thirsty skin. It has a very neutral, slightly floral scent. Read more
This cream has a light, slightly spicey, slightly sweet scent that dissipates quickly. The cream has a lovely feel on the skin, neither sticky nor greasy. I do find that it sits on a surface a bit more than I would like. It take a long time to absorb. That being said, I do feel like it leaves my skin well hydrated for a long time after applying. I don't find any redness or irritation after use with this cream. I mainly use it at night before bed. Read more
This cream has a fine texture and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. My skin feels very moisturized after applying it. I just don’t like its fragrance. It smells a bit like some kind of plant. I think it may come from its ingredients. It is made in France and the bottle looks quite high-end. Read more
My skin ranges from normal-to-dry to very dry. It is also mature. It's important for me to keep it moisturized as it feels better and looks better when it is. Makeup and sunscreen also looks and performs better on my skin when it isn't so dry. This Sothy's moisturizer was fresh and in a nice container. It warmed and thin slightly on my finger tips. To apply I dabbed a tiny amount at different points on my face and neck. After that I smoothed it over my skin with my fingers. It smoothed easily. It didn't pull my skin. It absorbed well into my skin without any heavy, greasy or waxy residue. There is a scent. It is light, citrusy. Though I'm sensitive to fragrances, this scent caused me no adverse reactions - no allergy or migraine. It was pleasant and didn't linger for a long time. I had no skin irritation or breakouts from using this moisturizer either. Overall, it moisturized my face and neck well. It felt good and looked better. I do like it very much. As far as value, a little does go a long way, so it should last awhile. Read more
I haven't heard of this brand before but I saw it was from France and I love French skincare, so I decided to try it out and see how it compares! I love that French skincare focuses on being 'bio' and uses mainly plant-derived ingredients, which this one does. It's super creamy and very moisturizing for dull or dry skin, which makes it excellent to use in the PM as a night mask, though you can also use a light coverage for AM. It has barely a scent of floral, but nothing strong. I have super dry skin so this has been a super moisturizing cream, though it is comparable to other creams I own that have a much lower price tag. I still believe this is worth the price because of the high quality and being from France. Read more
