For what it’s designed for it’s hard to beat. This is a portable, rugged and waterproof speaker designed to work indoors or outdoor in any weather. The size is perfect for throwing into a backpack, not too big or small. The included strap lets me hang it from a tree, umbrella or fence when I need to. The sound quality is very very good and loud for its size. The included 9 band equalizer on the app lets you dial in the exact sound you want. Once dialed in, this speaker really shines! The outdoor quality is surprisingly good for this speakers size. Loud enough to use for my pickleball games or chilling in the back yard. Will it shake your house? No, but that’s not what it’s meant for. The battery lasts more than enough for a full day. The connectivity to my phone via Bluetooth works flawlessly. It even connects to other soundcore speakers in the party mode. Compared to other brands in this category, this has much better value for the money. I can buy two of these for the price of one of the others and get true stereo sound. Read more

Be prepared to have your mind blown by this amazing, well thought out, and exciting Bluetooth speaker. The price is more than reasonable for what you get. A great value for your money. The connectivity couldn’t be any simpler and that includes pairing two of the same Soundcore Boom 3i speakers together. The sound quality is phenomenal. Compared to the Bose Soundlink Flex 2 and the JBL Flex 2, I own both, the clear winner here is the Soundcore Boom 3i. The nine band equalizer helps customize your music and being a huge bass fan, the bass up takes it to the max. Now, there’s the light show that radiates from the radiators that is truly entertaining and enjoyable. Download the app and you can customize your sound, light show (on/off) change the colors of the lighting, even listen to prerecorded sounds that’s very interesting. You can even record your voice and have it played back amplified. These speakers are extremely functional and there’s so much you can do with them, that I won’t need to use them for but maybe you will. Believe me, you can’t beat the price and overall quality, just purchase them while you can. Please bear in mind, this is my opinion which is subjective. I can only express my personal tastes in this matter and I love these speakers from what you can do and hear from them. Read more

I recently lost my JBL Flip 6 that I had been using for over 2 years. I loved the Flip so my first thought was to just replace it with the same one or the newer version. But I couldn't believe they were still selling the 6 for the same price I had bought it for over 2 years ago so started looking around. Technically, due to the weight and size, this is more of an alternative to the JBL Charge series. However, I got it for less money than what the Flip costs at the time of this writing, so... Feature wise it seems to be a big improvement. The sound quality is great, especially after adjusting the EQ settings based on some I got online. That helps a lot. Gets very loud. The app connected right away and was very easy to use to adjust the settings. I downloaded the firmware update I had read about beforehand which helps with a bass distortion issue out of the box, so you'll want to do that as well. I love the fact that it is not only waterproof but actually floats too. The LED lights are a very nice touch. My favorite feature of all though is the added strap. That makes such a difference in feeling like you can easily grab it and carry it wherever, which is what you tend to do with these small speakers. It does seem rugged and like it can handle the outdoors and can easily fit in bags to take wherever I'm going. One potential downside vs the flip is that that speaker sits at something like a 45 degree angle, so when you set it on the ground it's sort of angled up at you. Whereas this one is a normal rectangle shape, so you have to point the speaker directly horizontal or facing up. I don't think it's a big deal though, it still sounded good to me in different orientations. So overall, I think this was the right decision for me. As much as I loved the JBL, it seems like they have been resting on their laurels and charging the same price, while this speaker adds a bunch of great features and kind of takes the category to the next level. The media could not be loaded. This is a bit of a specialty item being designed for wet and rugged environments. I bought for beach, boat and river tubing. The sound level is pretty loud which is great for when you’re going fast on the boat. When tubing on the river it worked great and was immersed in salt water. Sound quality isn’t top notch but that’s a reasonable trade off for the size and ruggedness. The unit should have good battery life it’s pretty heavy for its size. Bass is good. Read more

Bought this for my wife as a Xmas gift. She freaking loves it. The sound quality is awesome. Easy set, Bluetooth was a breeze. Volume controls are simple. Battery life has been about 2 days on one charge with hours of usage. Love the looks of it as well. I like it so much that I bought myself one. Read more
