Wow! When I received these boots, I was impressed by how sturdy the box was. Not a cheap cardboard shoe box, one you could actually store the shoes in. Then each boot came with a dust cover, packed with care. And inside the box was an additional set of heel pads to cushion your feet! What a thoughtful touch! I put the shoes on and took one step and knew I wouldn't need it because these are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn! The memory foam type padding under the soles of my feet makes me feel like I'm walking on padded carpet. The sizing is perfectly accurate. I got an 8.5 and I'm a true 8.5. There is no rubbing on my ankles, and there is plenty of the room in the calf to tuck pants into these boots. The black has a wonderful material and they look very high end.
