The image is accurate and the sweater is very cute. I bought a large, as a medium in the same brand tended to cling to my torso, although it was quite long. The large fits loosely enough and doesn't seem to be any longer. The product came out of the bag with a terrible chemical smell, but it has a full year to air out so I'm not too worried. There is a jingle bell trio attached that can easily be detached and sewn back on if you need to wash this. It is a coarse, fairly open knit so I wouldn't count on it for warmth. I would also wear a turtleneck or a light silk undershirt underneath it so that it wouldn't be directly on my skin. Hence the four stars - this is not a high fashion item. But to wear to an ugly Christmas sweater party it's perfect! Read more
