My daughter wore these skates for two years - they held up to elements and abuse and literal daily use as she wore them every where, all day every day until she could skate. The adjustability allowing these skates to grow with her feet was amazing and easy to do. When she was able to finally skate on her own, we took her to a skating rink and the wheels lighting up made her feel like a super star on the skate floor. The wheel bearings ran really smoothly and didn't require any greasing for the time frame that we had the skates - she eventually out grew them but the value of what we paid for them and how much use we got out of them was worth every penny. Purchased for my daughter for Christmas. At 9 years old she’s about a size 3 in shoes. So I was surprised when she asked me to try them on and they fit me. I wear a size 8 in women’s. Anyway, she loves them. I didn’t adjust them out of the box, she just wears them so I’m not sure what setting/sizing they’re on. From my few seconds of skating I can honestly say they glide smoothly.
