I needed this to warn my sunroom, and it does a great job. It has a lot of safety precautions that were important to me, and you can set what temperature you want it at. Read more
Small size but it packs a punch. It rotates side to side and up and down. It has a remote and a timer function. It's a great buy. Read more
Its efficient, and I love the way it looks in my very small bathroom. After a few days it changed to farenheit so it may be smarter than your average heater... Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been working from home in this little corner office for years, and every winter—even in South Texas, where “winter” is basically just a week of me pretending I need a jacket—I freeze my butt off back here. The room’s on the outer corner of the house, carpeted, and apparently insulated with good intentions and prayers. Central heat does fine everywhere else, but my office stays stubbornly colder. I was done typing in fingerless gloves and looking like a cliché hacker in a hoodie, so I went hunting for a heater that wouldn’t ruin the vibe of my black-and-carbon-fiber setup. Aesthetics & Design ::: I saw this Minthouz portable heater and thought, “Okay, that actually looks sharp,” but it’s even better in person. It is taller and slimmer than I expected—about 16.4 inches high and only 7.2 inches wide—so it tucks perfectly beside my desk without eating floor space. At roughly 5 lbs, I can pick it up one-handed with the hidden handle and move it wherever without drama. The matte black finish and that glowing honeycomb grill when it’s on gives it a straight-up cyberpunk chic aesthetic with zero "toaster-oven" energy. It honestly looks like modern sculpture until it starts quietly blasting heat. Performance ::: The heat output is ridiculous (in the best way); flip it on and you feel warmth in seconds. The 3D oscillation—120° side-to-side plus a subtle vertical tilt—actually covers the whole room evenly. My chair and TV are on the opposite wall from the desk, and I’m no longer doing the “hot shins, cold everything else” dance. It is also stupidly quiet. I cut video all day and usually have to banish anything that makes noise, but this thing is under 45 dB even on high—I forget it’s running half the time. Best of all, I've been using it 8–10 hours a day for weeks and my electric bill hasn’t thrown a tantrum. The ECO mode plus the precise thermostat keep it from turning into a 1500W electricity beast. Features ::: There are a few little bonuses I didn’t expect to care about but now love. The remote is legit useful when I’m sprawled in the chair across the room, and the 8-hour timer is perfect for those "I’ll probably fall asleep editing again" nights. Also, the included tip-over and overheat protection mean I’m not lying awake worrying about an accidental fire. One small note: the vertical tilt is subtle (45° up, 10° down), but combined with the wide horizontal sweep, it still spreads heat way better than anything I’ve owned previously. Overall ::: Anyone with a small-to-medium office or bedroom that needs some heat, and is tired of ugly beige boxes, should check this out. It looks great, heats fast, stays quiet, doesn’t strain my electric bill, and fits perfectly in a modern setup. My South-Texas “polar vortex” office is finally comfortable, and I didn’t have to sacrifice style to get there. I consider this a great value and would highly recommend. Read more

This little heater actually puts out an impressive amount of heat for the size. It warms up a room fast, runs surprisingly quietly, and I love the oscillation features — especially the up/down motion, which you don’t see on many compact heaters. The remote is convenient, and the safety shutoff gives some peace of mind. My main issue is that it draws a LOT of power. That’s expected with a 1500W heater, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you’re trying to keep electricity costs down. Also, while the build is nice overall, it still feels like a lightweight plastic appliance rather than something super premium. That said, it works well, heats efficiently, and is easy to use. If you need a compact heater to warm a bedroom or office quickly, this absolutely gets the job done — just be prepared for the power usage. Read more
I’ve owned just about every type of heater over the years for both my shop and my home, and I normally avoid electric heaters because of slow warm-up times, poor efficiency, and that unpleasant burning smell many of them produce. This one genuinely surprised me. Performance & heating: Despite its compact size, this heater produces impressive heat almost instantly—within a couple of seconds of turning it on. The temperature control is very accurate, and I tested it by setting and monitoring specific temperatures. Once it reaches the set point, it does a great job maintaining consistent warmth without cycling aggressively. We’ve been using it regularly for about two months, and it’s capable of keeping our kitchen, living room, and hallways comfortable, which is more than I expected from a unit this size. Efficiency & comfort: Compared to other heaters we tried recently (including oil-filled radiators and basic electric heaters), this one stands out. There’s no odor, no excessive surface heat, and it doesn’t continue radiating heat long after being turned off. ECO mode and the thermostat clearly help manage energy use, and I’ve noticed a meaningful reduction in how often our main heat system has to run. Safety & features: The safety features were a big selling point for us—tip-over protection, overheat protection, child lock, and flame-retardant materials provide peace of mind. The 3D oscillation helps distribute heat evenly instead of blasting one spot, and the unit runs quietly enough to use in living spaces without distraction. Remote & usability: The remote control is one of my favorite features. Being able to adjust temperature and settings without getting up—especially on cold mornings or evenings—is a small convenience that makes a big difference. Pros: Money saved on electic bill Very fast heat-up time Accurate thermostat with ECO mode No burning smell Quiet operation Strong safety features Compact but powerful Remote control is genuinely useful Final thoughts: This heater changed my opinion of modern electric heaters. It’s efficient, well-designed, and powerful enough for real living spaces—not just small bedrooms. If you’re looking for a safe, fast, and controllable indoor heater, this is an excellent option and easily one of the best electric heaters I’ve owned. Read more
