I purchased this for my elderly mom. This is NOT going to really heat up a whole room, but this does provide some extra heat in an area or someone sitting in a chair where it's directed. I love the tip-over safety feature which I tested, and it works. This heats up quickly and puts out a good amount of warmth/heat where it's directed. I have a spouse with the metabolism of an underfed Chihuahua which is to say she’s cold 24/7. Fuzzy slippers, wooly blankets, and space heaters all appear when the temperature drops below 74 degrees. Even though I live with a bona fide yeti, she is considerate enough to accept that this is a “her” problem and keep her icy little fingers off the thermostat. I needed a compact, quiet space heater that could produce a heat output only slightly less than that of the sun. This diminutive electric box looked promising so we ordered one up. The unit is fairly unremarkable in most ways - compact, gray in color, a cord and a knob with three positions and one of them is ‘off.’ It’s got a tip-over switch on the bottom but I think that’s fairly standard in today’s nanny-governed world. But let me tell you, this tiny box throws out the BTUs. One cannot hold their hand stationary a foot away from the grille on the high setting without it looking like you dangled your paw in an air fryer for ten minutes. The fan is very quiet making it the perfect couch-side companion for her when watching TV in what is obviously an ice cave. Because it’s at, like, 72 degrees in here. FFS. Read more

It heats up quick and is not very loud. Even on the lowest setting, it blows warm air almost immediately and I only have it on maybe 5 minutes before I get too hot. It sits about 3 feet away and even on the lowest setting, there is a nice warm breeze. I've had it during Teams meetings and no one has noticed the sound. It sits on a file cabinet, so I don't really worry that it will be knocked over but it does have a sensor if it does to shut off. Very happy with the product. This heater is the perfect portable size. It's very lightweight and compact, so it's easy to move from room to room, or to take with you anywhere you would like some extra warmth. The heater may be small, but it puts out a lot of heat. The heater has 2 settings- low and high. The fan blows the heat evenly and distributes it at a good distance. I could immediately feel the warmth from about 6 feet away when I first turned it on. It heats up in just seconds! There is a safety feature on the heater, so if it accidentally gets knocked over, it will automatically shut off. This is especially nice if you have pets or kids around. I use this mostly in my bathroom to take the chill off when I shower. These cooler temps are still too warm for us to use our house furnace, but chilly enough to make me cold when getting out of the shower. The heater is perfect for warming up single rooms or areas like this. Overall, I really like this heater. It's small, lightweight, really puts out a lot of heat, and is easy and safe to use. This little space heater has made such a huge difference this winter. I use space heaters in the more frequented areas of the house to supplement the main system. I am impressed with the performance of this thing so far. I do wish it had a temp control that shut it off once the desired temp is reached but it is on constantly until you turn it off manually. I got this as a replacement for my small bathroom in the basement. The temperature in there stays around 60 degrees so far this winter. As with most small heaters, their functions are minimal, on/off, low, and high. With this one, the fan speed (low) is the same for both high and low settings. The only difference is the low setting has low heat and high setting has high heat. With that said, this small heater can heat up pretty fast. I turn this heater on for about five minutes on high, the temperature goes up 8 degrees on my thermostat. It works quite well. It would be better if it comes with a thermostat and an auto-shutoff function. I accidentally left it on the other day on high setting. I came back few hours later, the bathroom temperature went up to 121 degrees and this thing was still running. Some safety measures would have been nice. Read more

Durable may be the strongest asset of this little space heater, but it appears to be only in the thickness of the plastic casing. It's a very basic model with no thermostat, timer functions, or digital display. There's only a red LED that indicates when it's on or off. The entire outside of the unit, including the silver knob, is plastic. There are only low and high options for heat, and no fan setting. The lack of a fan is my biggest concern, as a cool-off period can help preserve the life of a space heater. The design is interestingly "industrial" (it's as gray as it looks), and it's very quiet, which is a plus. At this price point, there are more feature-rich options. Read more
