I've ordered the Space Saving Hanging Garment Bag with Self Compression Zipper – Dust Cover Clothes Bags for Down Coat, Suit & Dress – Closet Organizer Garment Bags for Hanging Clothes & Travel Storage from IntoGalaxy. I chose the color Beige, in XL. This Garment Bag is big and wide, but I wish it would be longer. My dresses all bundle up at the bottom and get tangled up. The compression is, but do not expect compression like with a vacuum compression bag. The great thing is, it holds a lot of jackets and cardigans. It is perfect for these puffy giant winter jackets. The zippers are small but holding up so far, but the material is on the thinner side. I like the window in the front to see what is in it. Balancing the good and the not so good I will give it 3 stars. I would recommend it for shorter jackets. Read more
I'm reviewing the Space Saving Hanging Garment Bag with Self Compression Zipper. My coat closet is bursting out of its seams, I have way too many long down coats and needed to tame this closet. Glad I found this garment bag, I can fit 3 long coats inside and zipped it up, gave me back several inches of closet space. The workmanship on this garment bag is very good, the fabric is good for storing coats, zipper worked smoothly. I will need to buy more to house my other coats. If I didn't come across this garment bag on Amazon, I wouldn't have known to save storage this way. This is a good and effective garment bag, I highly recommend it. Read more
This hanging garment bag is a great solution for organizing and protecting clothes while saving closet space. The self-compression zipper really helps reduce bulk, making it ideal for storing bulky items like coats, suits, and dresses. The material feels sturdy but the zippers could have been better. It is good enough to protect clothes from dust and dirt, and the beige color gives it a clean, minimal look. It is easy to use, just like any other dress or suit cover. It works well both in the closet and for light travel storage. My only minor complaint is that the zipper could have been of better quality. Plus, any transparent sheet/window on the side of the bag, so that we can quickly take a look of what is being kept inside the bag. Overall, it’s a functional and space-efficient storage option worth having. Read more
I have used compression bags for packing when I travel and I’m a big fan. So when I noticed a compression hanging garment bag, I was eager to try it. I have to say that this bag is a disappointment. Though the description claims it is made of heavy duty material, the bag is thin and very lightweight. The nylon zipper split a couple times before I could finally get it to stay zipped like it should. So those are the cons. It does have pros, too. I was able to easily fit 7 women’s winter blazers into the bag and once I got the zipper to stay put, these blazers took up about half their former space in my closet. (I did not overstuff the bag). I would be over-the-moon excited about this garment bag if the quality was better. Read more
This product came up in my feed, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Wowzers! This really does compact down some coats without denying them breathability. While it doesn't compact them like vacuum sealing them can, but it does drastically cut down on the space the coats take up. I have got all of my winter coats in them from wool to down to poly blend to my winter rain coats, fuzzy jackets, fleece jackets, and anything else I need to compact to free up space. it also handles my long coats with ease. I no longer have winter coats taking up tons of space on the backs of doors and in my closet. Read more
I am thrilled to have found this for my college-aged son to move back and forth between on-campus housing/home over the next few years. Before finding this garment bag we were using a recycled giant trash bag to move his clothes, and this item is obviously a huge step up from that. I hadn't thought of using a garment bag for this purpose before because I didn't think it would be big enough to fit enough clothes to make it worth the effort, but the design of this bag makes it possible to fit a ton of clothes and/or a large coat or two. The reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is basically quality control issues. The fabric and overall build are fine but not excellent, and mine has at least one obvious sewing flaw (in photo). It's well made enough that I'm hoping to get multiple moves out of it and am still really glad to have it, but it just doesn't look like the perfect, smooth quality as seen in the listing photos. I'll be honest. I was a bit skeptical about whether the special way they compress was going to work as well as a vacuum compression bag. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I'm using it for winter jackets. I also like being able to see inside the window to remind me of what's in the bag. The zippers work very smoothly. I'm thinking about getting a couple more for additional winter clothes to have them all match. Read more
It’s a good garment bag. Materials used are decent, zippers move smoothly. It’s clever how what looks to be a large gusset is then zippered and used for the compression once filled. Which leads me to the one thing I wish it had, the two zippers on the gusset should hook together. Read more
