I am SO glad I bought this dress! This is the perfect dress to keep in your closet for the .... just in case... situations. The week after I bought this, I needed to attend a funeral - and am SO glad I had this dress ready to go. Its well made, and comes with a waist tie/belt that makes it more flattering - but you don't to wear it. It has a zipper back and it seems to be good quality. The fabric is medium weight - perfect in my opinion, for this type of dress. The neckline is modest yet very flattering - I got lots of compliments on this dress. Value is great. Fabric is thin and because it’s synthetic is also hot- yes it’s weave is slightly open and transparent allowing air flow but because the fabric is basically plastic it’s not going to regulate your body temperature like a cotton blend would. The fit is not for tall girls- where the dress comes out at the hips hit me above my hips creating a weird oopaloopa type thing. If it had pockets it would work but it just looks bad. Sleeves were also short but the rest of the dress (shoulders, waist, collar, length) fit perfectly. I sized up to the xxl (I’m a size 14 with a large bust and I’m 5’ 11”) and if I was 5’7” maybe this would work but the sleeves and hips were a deal breaker. I do like the style and free tie waist sash belt- the mandarin collar is very cute- just fix the cut and fabric and this is an amazing dress. Read more

This dress is vey nice for the price. The build quality feels pretty solid and it has a good shape to the style. The belt is attached in a strong fashion so it is very functional for the dress closure. The neck is a little large and hags sort of floppy, so that might take some additional stitching or some fabric tape to strengthen. Read more

Runs small. I purchased the xxl—I am a size 16 and it was too small. The dress is above average quality and looks nice enough but I didn’t love it. Had to return it. Read more
