These boots are unique in style. I honestly can't get over the way the split toe looks, it kind of makes my feet look like a hooves. It there was a way to make a split toe shoe on the inside and have the outside look normal I would wear these all day everyday in the winter because they are honestly so comfortable. I am very flat footed and suffer from bunions and most boots hurt, I put these on and it was like walking barefoot. They are really great quality, nice leather and sturdy sole and heel. These would look really great with a pair of jeans or some leggings. They do seem to run a bit big, I am normally an 8-8.5 so I ordered and 8 and there is a lot of room in the heel. These boots came impressively and professionally packaged. I admit that I wasn't sure what to think at first about this "split toe" look, as the split goes all the way through, even through the sole. However, I found my toes actually really like them! You'll have to plan with hose or socks because of the split, but they are very comfortable, of quality production, and fit very well. They seem sturdy as well. I'm a size 7, and they fit exactly right, even for my "thicker" calves. The heel is chunky, so it's easy to walk in them. The insides are not warmly lined, so plan accordingly in very cold weather. The bottom of them has some traction, which should help on slippery surfaces. Overall, I think these are a quality boot and would recommend them as long as you don't mind your big toe being split from your other four. Read more

These boots are cute but be cautious if you wear them for a full day. They are very sturdy and have a nice thick heel which makes it easy for walking. I’ve worn them to work twice now, and even with a desk job where I sit all day I started to experience the formation of blisters on my ankles. I’m hoping after a few more uses I’ll “break them in” a bit more. The toe is a split-toe Japanese style so make sure you have the right type of socks! I’d also recommend ankle socks to prevent blisters. The low zipper makes it easy to slide these on and off. Overall a great value for the price point. Read more

I’m obsessed! These split toe boots are super cute. I sized up because they didn’t have the half size I usually wear and they fit just fine. Keep in mine the split toe is also internal, so I’d recommend wearing toe socks with these for comfort. They are comfortable too: it doesn’t feel like wearing wobbly heels at all. They’re not as long as I expected, so they’re subtle, which I love. You can tell that they were cleaned properly before being shipped out. This kind of material, however, is easy to scratch and scuff: it’s the same with anything made from this kind of material. Keep in mind that while these will be comfortable for daily wear, it may be easy to damage them. I personally wouldn’t pay this price for them, but I will say the price is comparable to all clothing items on Amazon-they tend to be more than in store. Read more

I wasn’t sure what to think about the “split toe” style but ordered it anyway because it was a Japanese style and very unique. The overall quality is very good. Everything you would expect in an ankle boot. It even has traction so there is some grip on snowy, slippery surfaces. I just had to get used to the “split toe” aspect of it. Alas, the only drawback to this boot is, it is not very warm. In the Winter, make sure to wear heavy socks due to this. Read more
