This product works well as a sponge holder. I placed it on a tilt out drawer that needed a thinner sponger holder. The tape sticks well and it securely holds light weight objects. I rated this product low as it doesn't look like the listing images. The metal is thin and is painted grey rather than polished. These are nice little sponge holders, and I will say that the adhesive definitely seems like it will hold for a long time. I put it up and let it set for 24 hours. I find that using alcohol to clean the area, then always letting the adhesive "set" is better if you want the adhesive to bond well. I think these are a good value, but I took off a star because they are really not "stainless steel" finish, they are more of a dark charcoal gray color I am a little picky about my "metals" matching and that kind of bugs me, but it's very functional and does the job so I'm going to use it!
