These are really effective for me because they keep me from touching and picking my blemishes. They are effective because they are nearly invisible, once applied, and I can wear them during the day while going unnoticed. I just cannot keep my hands off a puimple when I get one, unfortunately, unless I have a physical barrier such as this to stop me. I don't get pimples often, but when I do, they can be doozies, and I think my touching and picking contributes to this, unfortunately. While there are pimple patches that are designed to be seen, implementing bright colors and shapes such as dots, stars, hearts and such, I would never walk out of the house with such notable stickers on my face. But I would go to the grocery store with these on; I seriously doubt they would be noticed by anyone. I appreciate how they are infused with Salicylic Acid and Niacinamide, two well-known ingredients to bring down swelling, dry up the pimple, and reduce redness. I have not heard about or used Kaffoil before, and am interested in experimenting with these more. The ingredients will penetrate the skin and transfer into a bit of a crust ont he skin after some time. When I pull the patch off, there is a little bit of dried up gel that needs to be flaked away. After our last box ran out, I ordered this one for them to try. The box contains only 34 patches, which was something I hadn't realized when I ordered them. At $15 for the box, these are much more expensive than similar packs we've ordered, making them a poor value. The patches come in two sizes and feature the same great ingredients I always look for when ordering patches. The first thing I noticed about them was how thin they are compared to other brands. I thought that would be a good thing, but it makes them very hard to remove from the sheets. They also didn't stick to clean skin as well as others we've used. These pimple patches worked well for me. They stayed in place overnight and didn’t peel off while sleeping. By morning, the affected areas looked noticeably improved. These are great for small cuts, breakouts, and even bug bites. The ingredients are calming, and in certain areas when applied right, this is thin, transparent, and mostly undetectable to where you could go run errands etc and not feel too self conscious. I actually forgot it was on my face, even after looking in the mirror. When I applied these pimple patches, I noticed right away that they weren't sticking to my skin to the point that if I touched it, it would come off. I’ve tried a variety of pimple patches so I feel I have a good reference base for how these should work. Unfortunately these patches did not work that great for me. I wasn’t thrilled with the results of the first one I’ve tried so I gave it a second chance and pretty much got the same results which were almost non-existent for me. I’m afraid I’m going to have to stick with my normal brand. That being said there were some positives I’d like to point out. This product provided the widest size variety of any I have tried and the bigger sizes were significant larger than any I had tried in the past. The patches blend in with your skin well so not super noticeable. While they didn’t really work for me, they also did not irritate my skin. These patches have 3 key ingredients: Kaffoil, Salicylic Acid, and Niacinamide. The patches are thin and translucent. When affixed to my skin, it adheres well, and doesn’t come off until I peel it off. Against my skin, it is almost invisible, and can be barely noticed.
