Nothing but a Barrett!

This is the third time I've bought Barrett, and not because of getting chewed, nope - they bounce REALLY well, and we've lost a couple. Buying the 4-pack should hold us over for at least the rest of this summer. My big girl dog is the quintessential 'ball nut' and given her choice from a variety of options, she'll take the Barrett every time. She's even learned about 'english', the spin and rotation - she can draw it almost as well as I can draw a cueball. Read more

Balls crumbled apart...

These balls came highly recommended to us, however, after trying them out, we're a little disappointed that we've only gotten a few playtimes out of each ball before they're completely destroyed. Over the course of a couple rounds of fetch, the rubber ball just crumbles apart in large chunks; it's pretty bizarre, and I definitely wouldn't leave our pup alone (or even supervised) to chew on these, because of the size of the rubber chunks. Based on other positive reviews, I'm wondering if the rubber in this product goes bad over time and we were just shipped a really old batch? All that said, they've got a great bounce to them and are super-duper fun while they last (a few hours)! We might try ordering one more time, just to see if the rubber quality is different (cautiously hopeful), but probably wouldn't recommend these to anyone looking for a durable fetch ball, as of now. Sadly, the description did not include the ball dimensions. The package of the small size showed a Yorkie with the ball in its mouth. My dog is slightly larger than a Yorky, and there is no way a dog that small could pick up that ball. On the plus side, these seemed quite sturdy. Read more
