I wanted to make some cheese sticks and needed something to mix the butter and flour to make crumbs. Last time we moved my dough blender got lost so I needed a new one. This one was a great price, is very sturdy, will fit into the mixing bowl, and even came in my favorite color. My old one was chrome and the finish had started to chip off. Really impressed with this one — the handle feels sturdy and comfortable, and the blades cut through cold butter super easily. The one my wife had been using kept bending the cutters and broke one off while blending lard and flour together. So I ordered this one since the picture of it looked stronger and more durable. Works fine and appears to be well made. Handle is not comfortable and overall it’s a little too big for typical home kitchen use. The other size is too small. I have big hands and it’s not efficient for blending the dough because of the size. I don’t know if dough blenders come in standard sizes but one right in the middle would probably be perfect.
