This is one of the most comfortable shoes I've bought. It fits true to size and the color is the same as pictured. Having 2 zippers makes it super easy to take on & off. Wish I could find it in other colors. I would get several more pairs. It's not a super wide shoe, but I usually wear wide & it was fine in width for me, especially in the rounded toe where there was plenty of room. It's well padded and I can walk on a rocky path in comfort. It doesn't slide on wet walkways in the rain and keeps me feet warm. Did I mention cute? I've gotten several compliments on it. These are lovely boots. A 10 is a little big for me in most shoes, so I ordered a 9 1/2 W. They are very attractive and comfortable - but after wearing them for a while, I realized they were too narrow across the ball of my foot and in the toe. The zippers on both sides are helpful (one was just a little bit difficult to zip for someone with arthritic hands). I would still probably recommend these boots if your foot is not wide in the front. Read more
I have been wearing these, for the first time, for about 8 hours straight. They are so comfortable! They’re so cute! I love them. I will definitely be shopping SpringStep more often! All kinds of shoes hurt my feet. I even have a hard time finding sneakers that don’t hurt. These boots are perfect. True to size. I love, love this brand of boot. I have another style of boot from Spring Step that I bought 5 years ago and they still look great! And I wear them almost everyday from Oct to March! They are very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot and they fit great. Very well constructed and so cute. I have gotten so many compliments on these boots. They have a nice wool lining to keep your feet nice and warm. They are well worth the price. Read more
I couldn't figure out how to add photos, but I assure you, they look exactly as pictured. I tried them on immediately since we're having 20 degree cold, and I have heavy wool socks on. I usually wear a size 7.5 and ordered size 8. With the heavy wool socks, they're slightly, but not uncomfortably, tight at the width, but the length is perfect. I won't need the heavy wool socks and will wear regular length cotton socks. The reason I chose these was primarily for safety since I've recently had a hip replacement and already have had two knee replacements. There's snow and ice outside right now and walking felt treacherous. I put these on and felt very secure and sure-footed outside, even on the ice/snow outsside. There's a little heel pad inside and the back of the shoe has a slight rise, so it's a more secure footing than a perfectly flat sole. i don't usually pay this much for boots, but I think in the longrun, it will be worth it. I'm sure I'll be wearing these every day until the Spring. Read more
