I have multiple foot issues and frequently need to wear insoles or supported shoes. I also happen to commute and take the train to work. I really needed a pair of warm boots that supply support. I haven't worn these more than a couple of times yet but from the start, they are working out perfectly. I have very large calves and these work. I can lace them loose at the top but it is still tighter at the ankle. And, the tongue fits (wide enough it's not showing the sides). I have over 18" calves and I'm short, so that doesn't help. Once again disappointed by internet boots, the fabric is very cheap plastic “leather”, like cheap $30 Walmart boots. They look awful on. Thank god for try-before-you-buy because I would have been ticked to have paid upfront for these. Returned. Read more
