I haven't worn these more than a couple of times yet but from the start, they are working out perfectly. I have very large calves and these work. I can lace them loose at the top but it is still tighter at the ankle. And, the tongue fits (wide enough it's not showing the sides). I have over 18" calves and I'm short, so that doesn't help.
